Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $37 to $42 per hour.
Job Descriptions: - Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for improving financial performance.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel) and accounting softwares such as QuickBooks.
Experience: - Proven experience in payroll processing, financial auditing, and technical accounting.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent financial acumen and ability to analyze complex financial data.
