Join our HR Systems and Process Integration (HRSPI) team within Information Technology in this project manager role focused on streamlining HR processes and enhancing system integration. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR functional teams to deliver expert project management services, ensuring seamless data integration and governance, and offering steadfast support for daily HR system operations including Performance Management, Applicant Tracking System, Learning Management, and HCM processes.

As an integral member of our team, you will cultivate robust relationships with senior leaders, leveraging your business and technology acumen to establish and enhance your credibility as an HR technology leader within the organization.

Ideal Candidate:

An experienced project manager or business analyst with a proven track record in HR systems projects. Your hands-on exposure to data movement, analytics, and HR data reporting is crucial. Your ability to lead and contribute to small to medium sized projects will be invaluable, and your readiness to step in as a system administrator/developer when required will greatly enhance our team. Prior experience with SAP SuccessFactors and Taleo Platforms is a plus, and we'll provide training in these platforms to ensure your success.\n

Location Note:

This role is a hybrid work arrangement where the candidate can perform this role in-office or remote. In-office expectations within our operating footprint will be limited and based on an on purpose, for a purpose model should a meeting or collaborative session be scheduled.

Essential Functions \n

  • Partners with business leaders to establish solutions strategies.
  • \n
  • Ensures that projects meet or exceed expectations by guiding all project activities to include, but not limited to, schedule, scope, budget, risk, change management, and quality control.
  • \n
  • Partner with business owners to design, test, and maintain necessary integrations, as well as ensure existing interfaces continue to run smoothly and provide accurate results.
  • \n
  • Provides proactive, strategic system consulting services representing HR-owned data to the entire organization (and 3rd parties).
  • \n
  • Acts as backup for HR Systems business analyst and will perform tasks as need for system testing, administration, or troubleshooting.
  • \n
  • Responsible for off-hours system testing on an ad hoc basis.
  • \n
  • Acquires an expert knowledge of existing business and technical processes and applies this knowledge to assigned tasks and projects.
  • \n
  • Key conduit between the business leadership and the HR Systems and Process Integration team, as well as our technology and service partners.
  • \n
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to project team members in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, processes, and practices.
  • \n
  • Influences operational and executive leadership within the business areas to create and maintain alignment around the project business objectives, measurable benefits, success criteria, scope, and constrains impacting project delivery. Negotiates across multiple functions to resolve project conflicts and competing priorities.

  • Defines project scope based on client request, identified business need, and/or incomplete future-state vision.
  • \n
  • Accurately defines project resource needs, attains resource approval, and manages resource utilization through the life of the project.
  • \n
  • Clearly communicates expectations of project team members and holds team accountable to assigned deliverables.
  • \n
  • Develops risk management plan to identify, analyze, monitor, and respond to risks associated with the project to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes, on time and on budget.
  • \n
  • Leads and/or assists with the documentation and execution of system testing.
  • \n
  • Participates in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • \n
  • May aid in defining solution roadmaps for one or more functional or technology areas of the business.
  • \n
  • Analyzes impact of proposed solutions on existing technology platforms/infrastructure as well as processes.
  • \n
  • Anticipates client needs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • \n
  • Utilize appropriate software report writing and query tools to produce customized reports for multiple business lines and uses.
  • \n
  • Maintains the integrity of HR data by conducting regular audits.
  • \n
\n Required Experience \n
    \n
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, managing projects for full life-cycle - from initiation to implementation and close
  • \n
  • Working knowledge of PMI project management principles, PMP certification, or equivalent experience required.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS, systems analysis, software development, and/or software implementation is required.
  • \n
  • Prior experience implementing and working in HR systems such as Oracle Taleo (OTAC), SAP SuccessFactors, or other HCM platforms is a plus.
  • \n
  • Must have strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills, including facilitation and presentations.
  • \n
  • Experience leading business transformation projects and managing complex project plans and remote or 3rd party resources.
  • \n
  • Prior experience managing diverse interdependent cross-functional, cross-departmental projects, vendors, and technologies highly preferred.
  • \n

COMPENSATION : Salary Range target is $70,000 to $113,751.
